Enamel is glass fused to gold. Tough enough for a Tuesday, not for a demolition job. A little common sense keeps the colour loud for years.

• Keep chemicals away. Perfume, lotion, hairspray and cleaning products can discolour or damage enamel. Jewelry goes on last, comes off first.
• Take it off. Swimming, showering, working out, scrubbing the kitchen. Moisture and knocks are what cause chips and dulling.
• Store it separately. A soft pouch or a lined box. Loose in a dish with metal and stones is how scratches happen.
• Clean it gently. A soft damp cloth and mild soap. No abrasives, no ultrasonic cleaners, no harsh chemicals.
• Stay out of strong sun. Long stretches in direct sunlight can fade or shift some enamel finishes.
• Handle with care. Durable, but still glass on metal. Dropped on tiles or banged against something hard, it can chip or crack.

Yes, and yes. Enamel is durable but it is still a delicate surface, so daily wear can leave light scratches or the occasional chip, especially during hands-on work.

If your ring chips or starts to look worn, write to us. We do not run a scratch warranty, but we are always happy to talk through repair options and get your piece looking right again.

To keep it pristine, take the ring off for heavy lifting, workouts and cleaning, and definitely take it off around high heat.

Yes. Custom sizing, including quarter and half sizes, is no problem. Leave your exact size in the notes at checkout or message us right after you order.

Our pieces are priced the same whatever the size, so a custom size costs you nothing extra.

Carat is weight, not width — so the same carat looks a little different on every cut. Here is what each stone measures across the setting, in millimeters:

Every Goldcrush piece is made by hand, so it is delicate. Handle it that way and it will outlive every trend.

• Skip the gym. Gold is a soft metal and scratches easily. The same goes for gemstones, which vary in hardness — leave them at home when you train.
• No shower, pool or spa. Chlorine is brutal on jewelry and can make it break. Moisture also causes oxidation, so dry your piece with a soft cloth if it has been near liquid. Pearls are porous and dislike water most of all.
• Jewelry goes on last. Make-up, perfume, hair products, lotions and harsh cleaning chemicals dull the shine and polish. Put your pieces on last and take them off first.
• Clean it the right way. 14K gold: lukewarm water, a mild unperfumed dish soap and a soft toothbrush. 9K gold: a dry cloth only, no liquids. In doubt, or want it cleaned by our goldsmiths? Write to us.
• Take it off at night. Sleeping in your jewelry puts more stress on it than a full day of wear. Off before bed adds years to its life.

Yes — 60 days on all jewelry, starting from the date of delivery. It covers manufacturing defects such as loose stones, broken prongs and faulty settings. The period cannot be extended because a piece was not worn until later, and it only applies to pieces bought on shopgoldcrush.com.

Damaged or faulty piece, or something that does not close the way it should? Mail hello@shopgoldcrush.com right away with a photo and your order number. Report any complaint straight away — we cannot solve things retroactively.

There is no storefront to walk into, so if you would like your ring serviced once a year, send it in and we will take care of it.

• Not covered: scratches. Marks from normal, everyday wear.
• Not covered: misuse. Improper use or storage of your piece.
• Not covered: outside work. Anything modified or altered by a third party outside Goldcrush.
• Not covered: lost pieces. We need the defective piece back before we can repair or compensate.

Nothing sits in a warehouse. Made-to-order and Crush Lab pieces take around four weeks to cast, enamel and set. Staples that are in stock leave the studio within two weeks.

You get an email when your piece goes into production and again when it ships.

Outside the EU, prices exclude duties and taxes. Those are settled with the carrier on delivery.

Check your address twice before you pay, and mail us straight away if something looks wrong — once a parcel is out the door we cannot change it.

We cannot be held responsible for delays or losses caused by weather or carrier issues, or for parcels the carrier marks as delivered but you never received. We will always help you chase it with the carrier.
